Fun Things to Do in Tempe for All Ages
Tempe, Arizona has become a destination spot for people of all ages. There are plenty of fun things to do in Tempe, from Tempe Town Lake to the Tempe Improv, there's always something going on, day or night. Tempe Town Lake is designed as a bit of green space within the city. It offers numerous activities and is located near some of the city's most popular landmarks. Tempe Town Lake sees millions of visitors each year who come to enjoy the boating, fishing, the parks and picnic areas and for more active sports such as biking and hiking. Tempe Town Lake is a great place to mingle with visitors and locals alike, especially during the popular events including the Cardboard Boat Regatta and the Ironman Arizona athletic competition, a triathlon that tests the mettle of anyone brave enough to enter, no matter how fit they may be. The Fourth of July fireworks are a particularly large draw. For children, one of the fun things to do is hit a pool in Tempe and to cool off from the beautiful sun. Tempe Town Lake has among its amenities the Splash Playground. The pool is open seasonally, so check ahead to make sure the waters are open when you bring your children down to the park. The Tempe Improv is one of the most fun things to do in Tempe. The Improv is designed to be accessible to all adults who wish to come and experience a good night's worth of laughter and fun. Admission prices are very affordable. Those who are between 18 and 21 years of age are welcome: The Improv features a dry area that allows everyone to get in on the laughs.
