Downtown Tempe is where people come from all over the Metro Phoenix area for the vibrant nightlife. Tempe offers a wonderful variety of dining options from quaint little cafes to some of the finest restaurants in the Metro Phoenix area. There is just about every type of cuisine available including; Mexican, Asian, Middle Eastern, Ethiopian etc. There is also a great selection of night clubs, microbreweries and comedy clubs throughout Tempe.
Real Estate Overview
Tempe covers an area of 40.1 square miles and because it is surrounded by other cities there is little room for new construction. Since there is very little new construction of single family housing, Tempe homes have held their value fairly well in this current market downturn. Because of Tempe’s proximity to Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport, downtown Phoenix and downtown Scottsdale, Tempe is a highly coveted community to live in. You will find homes in all price points from college student condos to luxury high rise condos, from starter single family homes to multi-million dollar estates.
